So I logged onto the Marvel online store on my iPad store and this was on the featured page.  (The full cover is here if you want to see it.)  I did a double-take because I kind of couldn’t believe what I was seeing.  A pregnant woman, in a spread-eagle being molested by aliens.
I clicked on the cover and it brought me to the summary of Wolverine and the X-Men #5:

“Kitty Pryde is pregnant?!? Could it have to do with the billion Brood that have shown up?”

So…  Not only is Kitty pregnant (which I don’t have a problem with, btw), she seems to be pregnant with alien babies that are spreading her legs.  I just… I just…  The words escape me.  It is covers and ideas for comics like this that make everyone judge comics as juvenile and sexist.  There is no way in the World I would pick up an X-Men comic with a cover like this.  I would be embarrassed to be seen anywhere holding a comic with a cover like this.
Come on Marvel… really?

Marvel and I used to be cool. We used to give each other bro nods when we saw each other. Then they got rid of their very last female title. Now when he nods at me I flip him the bird.

…Are they just actively trying to alienate readers?

Oh my god, Marvel. Really? Ew.
